Can Fleet Risk Control help you?

Remember...

By law, employers must know what hazards and risks are in their workplaces and take steps to eliminate or reduce them.

There is no doubt that the failure to carry out a proper RISK ASSESSMENT could form the basis of a PROSECUTION.

Risk Assessment

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires every employer to carry out an assessment of the risks to the health and safety of their employees, or themselves, whilst they are at work, and to other people who may be affected by their work activities.

THIS INCLUDES DRIVING ON THE ROAD.

Regulations require the risk assessment to be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains up to date and valid. Employers should consider the risks to employees on the road in the same way as for those in a workplace.

Don't forget...

Risk assessments should be appropriate to YOUR company or organisation and be neither over complex nor too technical and satisfy the following questions:

  • What are the risks that YOUR drivers face when using public roads
  • How likely is it that the risk listed will happen and
  • What are the consequences if it does.

Our services

Fleet Risk Control has prepared risk assessments for a significant number of clients operating fleets of all sizes and all types of occupation.

Why not let us help you with the risk assessments for your company or organisation?

Price guide:

Our daily rates start at £400 and the total cost for this service would depend on your circumstances - i.e. location, size of company/organisation, number of vehicles operated and the complexity of the business.

For example, in some instances we are asked to write the full risk assessment and in other instances we will assist companies with assessments they have already prepared that maybe need strengthening, adjusting or updating, or indeed provide foundation documents for clients and then critique once prepared. To that end the work undertaken ranges from less than a day to a number of days.

The best option here is to either drop us an e-mail or give us a call for an informal dicsussion to enable us to give you a much clearer idea of the costs involved in your circumstances.
